American Business English Coaching & Training for Professionals Working with International Clients, when knowledge alone is not enough.
Many people carry enough English in their heads. What decides the outcome is whether they can access it in the right moment.
That is exactly what I work on.
We take real situations from your working week and take apart what happens there: where does access stall, where does your timing shift, where does a clear thought turn into half a sentence?
I work with language, reaction, rhythm, posture and repetition, until what you know stays available even when you have to react spontaneously.
My Way of Working
I don’t just listen to your English. I listen to what happens between the words.
A sentence can be grammatically perfect and emotionally completely wrong.
You can know every word and still lose the room because the wrong word gets the emphasis, your voice drops where it should carry, you rush the sentence, swallow the pause, or forget that breathing is generally quite useful when speaking.
Voice, body language, breath, timing, presence — I work with the whole picture, not just vocabulary.
Presentations, negotiations, leadership conversations, difficult moments — we work with the real situations where your English has to show up.
Correct English is awesome.
But if nobody can hear the person behind it, we still have work to do.
English is the language.
The person behind it is my work.
No knowledge problem. An access problem.
Most people know exactly what they want to say. And still something shifts the moment they have to say it live.
This is not a knowledge problem. It is an access problem between language, voice, body and thinking.
Reaction, rhythm, timing, repetition
We work with your real material: the meeting on Thursday, the call you would rather skip, the conversation you already lost in your head.
I listen for where your sentences break, where the rhythm speeds up, where a filler replaces a decision.
Then we repeat the sequence until the reaction becomes automatic.
Not more vocabulary. Better access.
When It Gets Serious
Nobody cares how beautiful your vocabulary list looks.
Because this is where prepared English meets an actual human being on the other side of the table.
The Presentation
You know your slides. You know your subject. You may even know the presentation backwards.
Then somebody asks the one question that was not in your beautiful preparation.
The Negotiation
Being polite is wonderful.
Giving away your position because you are searching for the safest English sentence is not.
We work on language, timing, tone and the tiny difference between sounding confident, aggressive, uncertain or accidentally apologetic.
The Leadership Conversation
Sometimes the difficult part is not knowing what to say.
It is saying it clearly without sounding like a bulldozer or a frightened intern.
Feedback. Decisions. Boundaries. Difficult messages.
Your English needs to carry the same authority as your position.
The International Meeting
Everybody technically speaks English.
Wonderful.
Unfortunately, everybody also brings a different culture, communication style, expectation and interpretation into the room.
One person thinks you are direct.
Another thinks you are rude.
A third is still wondering why nobody answered the actual question.
That is where intercultural sensitivity stops being a beautiful phrase on LinkedIn and starts becoming useful.
The Unexpected Question
This one is my favorite.
Because suddenly there is no script.
No memorized phrase.
No slide telling you what comes next.
Just you, your brain and the English you can actually retrieve in that moment.
And that tells me much more than twenty perfectly rehearsed sentences ever could.
The Moment Your English Becomes Smaller Than You
You know your subject.
You know your job.
You know exactly who you are.
But in English, something changes.
Your voice gets smaller. Your sentences become safer. Your personality starts disappearing behind correct words.
That is precisely what I do not want.
I don’t want to manufacture another polished English-speaking version of you. I want you to still be recognizable when you change languages.
Strategic Code-Switching & Neural Anchoring
I don’t switch languages to impress. I do it to target your neurons.
When I drop a buzzword in your native language mid session, it’s not noise, it’s neural anchoring. It is how I make a term stick, so it is still there when the pressure is on.
This isn’t translation. It’s neuro-linguistic targeting.
That is my coaching terminology, not a laboratory promise. It works because it is deliberate, repeated and tied to your real situations.
How this sounds in a session
You already know English. You just don’t trust yourself to speak it.
With me you don’t learn school English. With me you start talking.
AI can write you perfect texts. I get you to the point where you can speak for yourself.
I don’t teach you English. I tune your brain until English comes out of you, without you even noticing.
Spontaneous. Credible. Yours.
The goal is not artificial perfection. The goal is access that holds: you react in the moment, in your own words, without translating first.
Working with Joy
Choose what you need. I’ll tell you if I think you need something else.
I don’t sell fairy dust.
And I don’t sell the idea that five hours with me will magically turn you into a Californian.
Single sessions, structured coaching and longer-term partnerships — built around what you actually need.

All coaching sessions take place online.
This applies to private clients, professionals, leaders, teams and companies.
